我爹紧跟着我的爷爷
我紧跟着我的长辈们
一样地登上大山
山道
从我们手脚的攀爬中
向下滑落
盘旋如绳
垂悬如吊篮一般
一条条山道
吊住我的村庄
拉在我的手里的
是我的童年
拉在我的手里的
是我的村姑娘
拉在我的手里的
是我的家......
我不敢松开双手
因为这里的一切都很重

I follow in the rear
To climb up an uphill road
While my father
Tracing grandpa’s way
Under their feet there
Is the mountain trail
Winding down as twisting vine
Hooked with a village of mine
As a cluster of a basket
Hanging far in end
On the foot of the hill
Now
The vines in my hands
Are holding my boyhood
Now the vines in my hands
Are holding my village girl
Now the vines in my hands
Are tensely holding my home luck
No daring I am to let it go
That is my sacred burden
I shall always bear
On the top of the hill
