Hanging Garden of Babylon

Being a part of it,

There should have many wonder stairs

Which people could step along up on to get

In this Garden, just as many paths snake towards

The rusted spokes of the Truth

Soft touch those dew-drops within it,

Existed or non-existed,on the very beginning

Of the dream-stream to search the true-mouth of a spring;

Eyeing on the high of sheer fiction that

Have some kinds of foreboding well on it.

An elevator keeps running up; eyes must have watched

The slow door that opening;

The hoe has been waiting in hands so far for that

I have taken a vow to a man dying

To dig out the vast growth of jasmines covered

Those stone-poles and handrails there, realising

Them to the desolation, as snakes

 Cast off their skins

1、The Hanging Garden of Babylon there should have many wonder stairs being a part of it, which people could step along up on to get in this Garden, just as many paths snake towards the rusted spokes of the Truth.   《Hanging Garden of Babylon》

should 用于“for fear that…(唯恐……)”、“for fear(lest)…(恐怕……)”和“(for fear)lest…(免得……)”

1、God planted a scarlet maple tree on the crown of a hill, for all to see, then lest the soul should not lift her eyes from the gift to the Giver of Paradise.

Then lest the soul should not lift her eyes

From the gift to the Giver of Paradise,

On the crown of a hill, for all to see,

God planed a scarlet maple tree.

1、They should have been on the trail an hour ago.

例2、The showdown between them would have come sooner, except for a terrible incident.

例3、Only fools could have made it with a sled this far.
