苏幕遮
碧云天，黄叶地，秋色连波，波上寒烟翠。山映斜阳天接水，芳草无情，更在斜阳外。
黯乡魂，追旅思，夜夜除非，好梦留人睡。明月楼高休独倚，酒入愁肠，化作相思泪。
注释
范仲淹（989—1052），汉族，北宋著名的思想家、政治家、文学家。字希文。其先邠（今陕西邠县）人，后徙苏州吴县（今属江苏）。幼年丧父，母亲改嫁长山朱氏，遂更名朱说。大中祥符八年（1015年），范仲淹苦读及第，授广德军司理参军，迎母归养，改回本名，后历任兴化县令、秘阁校理、陈州通判、苏州知州等职，官至枢密副使。因秉公直言屡遭贬斥。庆历三年（1043年），出任参知政事，上疏《答手诏条陈十事》，提出十项改革措施。庆历五年（1045年），新政受挫，范仲淹被贬出京，历任邠州、邓州、杭州、青州知州。皇祐四年（1052年），改知颍州，范仲淹扶疾上任，行至徐州，与世长辞，享年六十四岁，卒谥文正，世称范文正公。著有《范文正公集》。词存五首，风格、题材均不拘一格，如《渔家傲秋思》写边塞生活，苍劲明健，《苏幕遮·怀旧》《御街行·秋日怀旧》写离别相思，缠绵深致，均脍炙人口。
1、苏幕遮：原唐教坊曲名，来自西域，后用作词牌名。又名“云雾敛”“鬓云松令”。 双调，六十二字，上下片各五句。《苏幕遮·怀旧》这首词作于宋仁宗康定元年（1040年）至庆历三年（1043年）间，当时范仲淹正在西北边塞的军中任陕西四路宣抚使，主持防御西夏的军事，采取“屯田久守”方针，巩固西北边防，守边多年，西夏称他“胸中自有数万甲兵”。
2、“芳草”二句：自《楚辞·招隐士》“王孙游兮不归，春草生兮萋萋”以后，在诗词中， “芳草”常暗指故乡，因此，这两句有感叹故乡遥远之意。
3、黯乡魂：语出江淹 《别赋》：“黯然销魂者，唯别而已矣。"因思念家乡而黯然伤神。黯，形容心情忧郁。乡魂，即思乡的情思。
4、追旅思（sì）：撇不开羁旅的愁思。追，追随，这里有缠住不放的意思。旅思，旅居在外的愁思。
5、“酒入愁肠，化作相思泪。”，抒情深刻，语活而新。作者另一首《御街行·纷纷坠叶飘香砌》则说：“愁肠已断无由醉，酒未到，先成泪。”写得更进一层，但欠柔而不及这两句诚挚。
6、后世影响：清代邹祇谟《远志斋词衷》：“范希文《苏幕遮》一阕，前段多入丽语，后段纯写柔情，遂成绝唱。”
元曲作家王实甫的《西厢记》中“长亭送别”一折直接化用这首词的起首两句“碧云天，黄叶地”，改为“碧云天，黄花地”，衍为曲子。

英语语法笔记
一、 诗词里的大写字母
诗歌中，每一行的第一个词，开头的字母大写。
拟人化了的词语大写。
例1： I remember, I remember
The house where I was born,
The little window where the sun
Came peeping in at morning;
……

但某些现代诗歌并不遵循此格式。其余的大写遵循一般规则：如专有名词，人名、书名、戏剧等名称中主要的词，敬称及一般的称呼语，头衔等的简称。在一般书写中，季节不必大写。

二、分号，冒号与破折号的用法
分号(The Semi-Colon)
当阅读时需要停顿的时间比逗号表示的停顿间隙长，而又不会因句号打断思路时，就用分号。
(1)、把不用连接词的并列成分分开，例如：

(2)与一些连接功能强过and 的连词结合使用，例如与therefore, however, nevertheless, besides, also, otherwise 连用。例：

冒号（The Colon）
冒号用来把两个句子分开，后一个句子用来进一步解释前面的句子。类似于在暗示“that is to say”(“也就是说”)的意思。
1、A beautiful form is better than a beautiful face: a beautiful behavior is better than form: it gives a higher pleasure than statues or pictures; it is the finest of the fine arts.
2、Here lies Sir Jenkin Grout, who loved his friend, and persuaded his enemy: what his mouth ate, his hand paid for: what his servants robbed, he restored: if a woman gave him pleasure, he supported her in pain: he never forgot his children: and whoso touched his finger, drew after it his whole body.
破折号（The Dash）
破折号表示：（1）对前面的叙述做一种校正；（2）对前面句子表达提供一个意外的转折。
